No more need for painkillers, leg grows out

I still have no pain in my leg but even better I shared my healing with the church I go to and they invited people to come to me for prayer for bad legs (thrown in the deep end!). I had a queue of people! I quickly panic prayed and then tried to remember all the key things that Mark taught us. It was a big step for me to hold someone’s feet out after they claimed that they had always had one leg 15mm shorter than the other, keep my eyes on Jesus, thank him for his presense and command the leg to grow. Silently I waited not knowing what would happen and then THE LEG MOVED AND GREW in front of my eyes. I asked someone else to check it, I asked the guy being prayed for to check it, he said he felt his whole leg stretch. We confirmed that his leg had grown 15mm in front of our eyes. Next was a woman with the same problem, back, leg etc. Now I had more faith and confidently commanded the leg to grow in Jesus name, waited and then it started very slowly moving someone else was watching to verify. I wish I had filmed it. I have gone from being in a lot of pain and addiction to painkillers to being healed, to praying and seeing the miraculous in front of my eyes in the space of a few days. I’m having trouble to keep up, now people are asking me to pray for them for healing! Whoa!!

Kneeling without pain

Since last Sunday when my knees were prayed for, I can kneel without pain, something which hasn’t happened for years. I keep checking to make sure, but I know they feel different, not just in the absence of pain (which was like kneeling on a sharp stone) but their shape. The pain had been caused by a number of accidents over the years, being hit with a hammer, sledging and cycling etc. I wouldn’t mind seeing the video of my leg growing (even if it was only a little), I didn’t feel a thing at the time Mark prayed but driving home I thought something had happened as I normally have to straighten and click my left knee to be able to use the clutch and I haven’t done it since. Both still crack a bit, maybe there’s more to come.

Comfortable sleep

On a personal level, I have been troubled by bursitis in my hip for several months now and it has not really responded to medication - as a result I have found sitting, standing and lying quite uncomfortable. On Saturday afternoon, I took the opportunity of being prayed for and Praise the Lord had a comfortable nights sleep (despite a hardish bed at the B and B) and since then have remained virtually pain free. I can now lie on both sides in bed at night which is wonderful and I feel so renewed. I can sit and stand with hardly any pain at all.

Emotional healing

I received a deep emotional healing, something I had been struggling with for 8 years and could get little relief from despite much prayer before, I feel really free from this burden for the first time ever, I cannot thank enough the people who so sensitively prayed for me and of course our God who we love with all our hearts!

Left leg grows, back at ease

This was the Testimony I gave out in church last Sunday. It was an amazing experience and have been telling my non-believer friends and family and other Christians.

Today I am still pain free, Praise God. I can walk upright and not the stooping over as I used to be. Even my Pastor noticed my posture had changed!

For sixteen years I have suffered with 4 prolapsed discs where at times the pain has been so unbearable and is now affecting my hips and legs.

During this weekend I was sitting next to ***** with ***** behind me with ***** not far away.

As Mark was teaching us about healing on the streets, my lower back and shoulders was getting rather hot. I told **** what was happening and said I thought that God was at work healing my back. Thinking no more of it I carried on listening to the teaching.

Within a few minutes of this happening Mark went onto ask if anyone had a leg shorter than the other or a bad back to put their hand up.

***** behind me gave me such a prod to put my hand up along with Joan, before I could reply to either of them my arm had shot up in the air! At that moment I was called to the front to help with a demonstration of Gods healing.

There was a chair on the platform where I was asked to sit right back in the chair and stretch my legs out. When my legs were stretched out my feet were put together you could see that my left leg was shorter than the right. I was amazed, I never knew I had this before. This was shown to the congregation by an overhead camera to show what God was doing. I was prayed in a gentle, relaxing loving way that went like this,

“God Loves you, you are precious to him.” And prayed for the discs to be healed. There was a lot more praying of which I cannot remember all the words.

I felt that it was God talking to me and that I was the only one in the room, I felt his love so much for me and I was just in awe of him. As I was being prayed for, I felt my left leg stretching. I was shaking and trembling, The left leg had become the same length as the right one.

The pain that I arrived with that morning was no longer with me. The pain had gone, with healing in my lower back that I have never experienced before that only God could do. Afterwards I was just so amazed at God’s healing. It was just so incredible.

My back feels in perfect balance and so at ease.
This is what God’s healing has done to me through the love of Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit

My advice is to keep on praying and pressing in to God. Never give up, This is the encouragement he has given me to pass onto you.

Arm grows out, fingers straighten

A young man came forward for his painful knees and the shunt in his head, which is a concern to him. After prayer from folk in the congregation who felt God’s presence, he said his knees felt alot better. We then had a young lady come up who had a very painful elbow for several weeks and she had even had it x-rayed but no break was shown on the x-ray. Interestingly a family (Dad, Son, Daughter and Son-in-law) came up and prayed remembering what I had shared earlier. They supported her arms carefully and we all saw the two arms come to equal length - her left arm growing by 3″ and also her fingers straightening. The arm/elbow is completely healed. Praise God.

Movement and motion restored

I had curvature of the spine in both the lower back and between the shoulder blades, three vertebrae were fused in the lumber region, and my hips were tipped at an angle so that my left hip was higher, even though a surgeon has said my legs are the same length. An osteopath and various masseurs have always said that the muscles in my back were very tight, probably because I was trying to hold myself upright. My movements, therefore, have been restricted and I have suffered back ache by the end of each afternoon.

When **** prayed for my upper spine I felt all my muscles begin to relax and I felt taller. After that he sat me down and showed me that because of my hip positions I could not sit squarely on the chair and so my legs appeared to be different lengths. As he prayed again my hips seemed to relax and the left leg moved down in line with the right leg. I just felt totally relaxed, incredulous, and very excited.

I spent a long afternoon walking round Winchester with no pain, no tiredness or aching in my back, and after a lively evening service I had an incredibly comfortable two hour ride home to the North Cotswolds. Normally, car journeys are uncomfortable.

Each day I realise that there is something I can do that I couldn’t do before - it’s just a wonderful experience. Praise God.

Labyrinthitis healing!

Before going to the J.John evening in Winchester last May, I had been suffering from nausea and dizziness for a couple of weeks. I had almost fallen over in the churchyard the Sunday before, having to sit down and hold onto a gravestone for support. The previous Friday, my doctor had diagnosed this as ‘labyrinthitis’, telling me, depressingly, that it would probably last for “some weeks”.

However, when I went to the J.John evening that evening I had no intention of asking for healing. It simply did not occur to me. I felt very unsteady on my feet and had walked into the cathedral at the beginning of the evening, holding on to the arm of the friend who I was with. The theme of the evening was relationships with parents and, since I have always had quite a difficult relationship with my mother, when my friend suggested that we both go to the front for prayer , I went forward willingly, again holding onto her arm for support.

When I got to the front my friend and I each went our separate ways for prayer and I got talking to a ‘pray-er’ there who it later transpired was part of the Healing On The Streets team. I told him briefly about my relationship with my mother and they suggested we pray about it. I was feeling very unsteady on my feet at this point so asked them if they would mind if we found somewhere to sit down to pray, adding that the reason was that I was feeling a bit dizzy due to my labyrinthitis. They immediately asked, “Shall we pray about that too?”, to which I readily assented, albeit feeling a bit sceptical in view of the doctor’s prognosis.

We sat down and, as they began to pray with me, I felt immediately infused with a kind of warmth and sense of comfort and security and could not stop a broad smile from creeping over my face. They stopped praying and, as we stood up, I suddenly realised that I didn’t feel dizzy any more. The nausea had also gone. In fact, I felt suddenly better than I had done for the past fortnight and I also felt a sense of elation and confidence that made me want to skip back down the aisle to my place in the church.

My friend, who was waiting for me, asked me if I was OK and offered me her arm again but I said, “No thanks, I don’t need that any more. I think I’ve been healed!”. I could still hardly believe it and went home, half-expecting that the next day I’d wake up to find that the dizziness and nausea would have returned, particularly since it was always at its worst first thing in the morning. However, it didn’t come back and it hasn’t come back ever since. I felt completely better.

That day I actually had an appointment to see the doctor about my labyrinthitis. I didn’t know whether to cancel the appointment or to go anyway but in the end decided I would go. I still felt I wanted confirmation from a professional, medically-trained person that I really had been healed- so I told the doctor exactly what had happened the night before, expecting a cynical reaction. However, after examining me, she said that she could see no sign of anything wrong with me and even added, “I have heard of such healings before. We have to be open to all things”.

I truly believe that God healed me that day through the prayers of the Healing On The Streets team member (-name withheld but known).

Knee injury healed

I offered a leaflet to a young man with a group of young people. He said “I know about this. You [plural] prayed for my knee injury and it was healed”.

I said “Really?” and he replied “Yeah, it was healed”…

Then another member of the group asked some serious theological questions and we had a long conversation…..

Damaged right angle much better

I went up to a group of students and asked if they needed prayer or had any pain in their body. They all pointed to one girl and she said she did, having damaged her right ankle. I prayed three times and the pain went down from 7/10 to 3/10 to “just a twinge”. She kept remarking “I don’t believe this is happening!”
